A chef’s toque is the highest distinction for restaurants included in Gault&Millau’s Yellow Guide. According to the creators, after being subjected to an evaluation by anonymous inspectors, only true culinary gems find their way into the guide.
The guide’s 2019 edition again features restaurants from Dr Irena Eris SPA Hotels among the best. Three of them – Szósty Zmysł in Krynica-Zdrój, Romantyczna in Wzgórza Dylewskie and Art Déco in Polanica-Zdrój – received one chef’s toque each, while the second restaurant opened last year in the Dr Irena Eris Polanica Zdrój SPA Hotel – Décompresja – debuted with two toques. The restaurant’s chef, Rafał Grzegorzek, was also nominated for the “Young Talent” award.
