The Dr Irena Eris Group operates in accordance with the principles of responsible business, which include: responsibility for products, social involvement and acting for the environment. In our actions, we use only green energy. Since the beginning of 2019, all cosmetics have been produced using energy which in 100% comes from renewable sources, such as wind and solar energy. As a result, we have reduced our carbon footprint by 3,000 tons. We are also a “plastic-free” company—we are no longer using bottles, mugs, cutlery and other disposable materials made of plastic. We conduct research on the use of biodegradable raw materials in packaging, and as a Founding Member of the Polish Association of the Cosmetic Industry, we actively support the activities of the Association in implementing the plastic strategy. In 2019, Dr Irena Eris Cosmetic Laboratories recycled its used packagings. As a result, we reduced our carbon footprint by 258 tons of carbon dioxide.
