Poland’s only international event devoted to contemporary music. For many years it has been the only event of this kind in Central and Eastern Europe. Next to some traditional Warsaw-Autumn presentation venues, such as the National Philharmonic, Music Academy, theaters and churches, in recent years the events are held in places of a less classical character: in sports halls, on the floors of old factories, in new architectural spaces, and clubs. Contemporary composers introduce video projections and use new technologies.
