Warm, warmer, Pharmaceris S

According to data from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, the number of hours spent in the sun in Poland is steadily increasing, which is a result of ongoing climate change. This means that special care must be taken to minimise the risk of UV damage to the skin. We have the solution.
Pharmaceris S is a line of innovative products designed to protect the skin of adults, children and babies. The Dr Irena Eris Centre for Science and Research has conducted in vitro tests of the products in this line on skin cells to assess their effectiveness in protecting the face and whole body from premutagenic changes. These are damages caused by UVA radiation, which accumulates in the DNA of skin cells and can lead to mutations and the formation of cancer cells. This process can be invisible for years, which is why prevention and daily protection of the face and the whole body are so important.

The formulas used in Pharmaceris S cosmetics ensure safety at the molecular level, effectively reducing the formation of DNA damage caused by UVA radiation. The effectiveness of the DNA protection varies between 97 and 100 per cent, depending on the product. This is a very high rate for the entire line of preparations. The series also includes cosmetics based 100% on mineral filters, intended for children from the age of one day. Baby skin is thin and delicate, so it needs the best and safest form of protection.
Did you know that...
There are different types of UV radiation that penetrate the skin and cause damage. UVA – damages the DNA of cells, which leads to skin ageing and can contribute to the development of tumours. UVB – is responsible for tanning as well as dangerous sunburn. HEV (blue light) – accelerates skin ageing. IR (infrared) – contributes to oxidative stress (imbalance between free oxygen radicals and the body’s ability to neutralise them). Although sun exposure carries certain risks, it also has a whole range of positive effects, including supporting vitamin D production, strengthening the immune system, helping to regulate the circadian rhythm and improving sleep quality, as well as improving mood and reducing stress. The optimal solution is therefore to make sensible use of the sun’s benefits while protecting the skin from the negative effects of solar radiation.
