PATRONAGE IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE AND SPORT

1. Since 2017, the Dr Irena Eris brand has been the main partner of the Gdynia Film Festival and is involved in ambitious film projects, such as Agnieszka Smoczyńska’s “Silent Twins” and Jonathan Glazer’s “The Zone of Interest”.
2. It is the title partner of the Polish Women’s Sailing Championships and actively supports women’s sports initiatives, including golf events.
3. The brand is an ambassador for both the Polish Chess Federation and the most important national chess tournaments.

RESEARCH AND SCIENCE

4. It was the first brand in the world to use folacin, or folic acid, in cosmetics for patients undergoing radiotherapy.
5. It was the first in Europe to use transdermal vitamin K for the care of couperose skin.
6. In 2010, the brand launched telomere-protecting cosmetics – at the same time, American scientists Carol Greider, Elizabeth Blackburn and Jack Szostak received the Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology for their discovery related to telomeres.
7. The brand holds 12 patents and 11 patent applications.
8. It discovered a potassium channel activator in skin cell mitochondria.

9. The first Dr Irena Eris Cosmetic Institute was opened in 1996, whereas the Dr Irena Eris SPA Hotel in Krynica-Zdrój, the first SPA hotel in Poland, opened its doors only a year later. In this way, the brand created a globally unique business concept based on three pillars: high-quality cosmetics, professional skin care tailored to individual needs, and relaxation in comfortable surroundings.
10. Dr Irena Eris was the first and only Polish brand to be accepted among the European members of the French Comité Colbert association, which promotes luxury brands.
