The most comprehensive compendium of knowledge about cosmetics ingredients in Poland, the portal that has been in existence for over a decade – Kosmopedia – is redefining its concept. Since March 2022, Polish consumers can use a mobile new app that deciphers the ingredients of cosmetic products and informs users about their functions and role in the product. The app is non-commercial, science-based, command-free, and offers access to information on almost 30,000 cosmetic ingredients, developed in a clear and easily understandable format. It is designed to help users make informed purchasing choices and to dispel their doubts about the safety of ingredients.
