Working closely with Emergency Medical Services, aid centers (including CPP20), and many foundations (such as the Porozumienie Bez Barier Foundation), we donated over 150 thousand care products for refugees and people on the other side of the border.
Proceeds from sales in our online stores on 4-6.03 will be donated to the Polish Humanitarian Action.
Until further notice, we stopped our cooperation with customers in Russia and Belarus. This situation does not result from dislike of particular countries, we respect their citizens, unfortunately, the military aggression conducted by the governments of these countries does not leave room for other decisions.
We have partnered with a foundation, which arranged for the transport of 50 children from an orphanage in Kyiv. In addition, as part of this cooperation, we sponsored a guest house for a group of children and their guardians who were evacuated from the hardest-hit areas.
We support our employees in their aid effort, e.g. through their voluntary actions and the support from our company we managed to transfer several families from the border. Two families have safe and secure housing until the end of the year.
Dr Irena Eris SPA Hotels in Krynica-Zdrój, Polanica-Zdrój and Wzgórza Dylewskie also joined in the local activities. The assistance provided includes support for Ukrainian workers joined by their families. Additional accommodation and in-kind help have been organized. Charity collections of essentials are carried out, and places for Ukrainian children have been secured in Polish schools.
The employment contracts of Ukrainian workers were extended, at least until the war is over.
The SPA hotels organize Ukrainian Days for all their employees. The purpose of the event is to present culinary traditions and to collect items that are most needed to support Ukrainian families.
We cancelled this year's Dr Irena Eris Ladies' Golf Cup. And we allocated this budget to renting apartments for refugees. Thanks to this, they have a guaranteed safe place to stay until the end of 2022.
Hotel employees, responding to calls from local authorities, get involved in fundraising efforts and deliver needed products and meals to temporary refugee facilities and shelters.
